DHR Washington Co HVAC Filter replacement

Background
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is issuing a solicitation for a one-time service to replace HVAC filters across various county offices. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all HVAC systems in the specified locations are equipped with new, compliant filters to maintain air quality and system performance. This initiative aligns with DHR's mission to provide quality services and support to the community.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a one-time service to replace all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers. The scope includes:

- Replacement of pleated filters (MERV rating minimum of 13) and HEPA filters (removing at least 99.97% of particles ≥ 0.3 microns).
- Suppliers must conduct site visits to assess the quantity, size, and type of filters needed for each air handler.
- The unit price must cover all costs including travel time, mileage, labor, materials, equipment rentals, and disposal of old filters.
- Filters must be new and installed following industry standards.
- Each new filter must be labeled with the date replaced, company name, technician initials, and unit number.
- Suppliers are responsible for taking pictures post-installation for verification with DHR POCs at each location.
- All work must comply with ASHRAE standards.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various DHR county offices throughout Alabama as specified in the site visit schedule.
