DHR ST Clair HVAC Filter replacement

Background
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking contractors to provide HVAC filter replacement services across various county offices. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all HVAC systems are equipped with new, compliant filters to maintain air quality and system performance.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a one-time service to replace all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers. This includes:
- Conducting site visits to assess the quantity, size, and type of filters needed for replacement per air handler.
- Providing pleated filters and HEPA filters that meet ASHRAE standards (removing at least 99.97% of particles ≥ 0.3 microns).
- Ensuring proper disposal of old filters and installation of new ones, following industry guidelines.
- Coordinating with DHR's designated point of contact (POC) at each location for scheduling.
- Performing services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM without overtime or weekend work.
- Documenting the date replaced, company name, technician initials, and unit number on each new filter prior to installation.
- Taking and sending pictures of the installed filters to the POC after replacement for verification.

Period of Performance
The service must be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various DHR county offices throughout Alabama.
