DHR Jeff Co-Bessemer Parking Lot Lighting Installation

Background
The State of Alabama, through the Division of Procurement, is seeking contractors for the installation of exterior lighting at the DHR Jefferson-Bessemer County facility. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and functionality of the parking lot and dock area by replacing non-functional lights and ensuring proper illumination.

Work Details
The contractor will perform a one-time installation for the exterior lighting of the building, which includes:
- Replacement of non-functional lights on approximately 30-40 of the 58 green light poles.
- Installation of replacement bulbs for 8-12 non-functional lights under the back docking area.
- Cleanup of work areas after installation.

Materials will be supplied by DHR Jefferson-Bessemer Co., and specific installation locations and exact quantities will be determined during a mandatory site visit. The unit price must cover installation, ballast and bulb removal, cleanup, and disposal of debris, old ballasts, lamps, and bulbs off-site. The quote should include all costs such as trip charges, mileage, supplies, labor, permit fees, lift trucks, and any additional amounts necessary to complete the work.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed in one trip and finished by March 7, 2025. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for February 21, 2025.
