The goal of this contract is to ensure proper air quality and system performance by replacing all HVAC filters, excluding those for boilers and chillers. Work Details
The contractor will provide a one-time service to replace all HVAC filters at designated DHR county offices. The scope includes:
- Replacement of pleated filters and HEPA filters as specified, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE standards.
- Suppliers must conduct site visits to assess the quantity, size, and type of filters needed for each air handler.
- The unit price must encompass all costs including travel time, labor, materials, equipment rentals, and disposal of old filters.
- Installation must adhere to industry best practices, ensuring proper operation post-replacement.
- Suppliers are required to document the replacement by writing on each new filter the date replaced, company name, technician initials, and unit number.
- Photographic evidence of the installed filters must be sent to the designated DHR point of contact (POC) after completion.
- All work must be completed by May 30, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed no later than May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various DHR county offices across Alabama as specified in the solicitation.
