Conservation/MRD/Dauphin Island - Janitorial Services FY25

Background
The State of Alabama, through the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, is seeking bids for janitorial services for the Marine Resources Division located at 2 N. Iberville Drive, Dauphin Island, AL 36528.
The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the office environment during the fiscal year 2025.

Work Details
The contractor will provide bi-weekly janitorial services including:
- Cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch areas (e.g., doorknobs, light switches) in hallways, entrances, individual offices, bathrooms, conference room, breakroom, labs, and other specified areas.
- Specific tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming entry rugs, cleaning glass windows/doors, dusting surfaces monthly, emptying and relining trash cans.
- The contractor must supply toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, and trash liners.
- Services are to be performed on preferred days of Wednesday and Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM.
- All areas are to be cleaned at every visit unless otherwise noted.
- No subcontractors or third-party vendors are allowed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be valid from August 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Marine Resources Division office located at 2 N. Iberville Drive, Dauphin Island, AL 36528.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in Alabama Buys and complete a mandatory site visit on July 8, 2025 at 9 AM at the specified location.
