Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the City of Hoover in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, but no more than $10,000. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance are required upon signing the contract. All bidders must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must display their current license number on the outside of their sealed proposal envelope. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to notify Ms. Amanda Morris or Ms. Stephanie Vaughn in writing of their intent to bid by May 28, 2025.
