Academy - Kitchen Appliance Repairs

Background
The State of Alabama, through the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, is issuing a solicitation for kitchen appliance repair services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of kitchen appliances used within state facilities, thereby supporting the operational efficiency of state services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide equipment maintenance and repair services for kitchen appliances. Specific requirements include:

1. Labor Rate for Technicians:
- Standard business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) labor rate per hour.
- After hours (5:01 p.m. – 7:59 a.m.) labor rate per hour.

2. Materials:
- Cost plus percentage for materials used in repairs.

3. Trip Charge:
- A trip charge that includes travel to/from the location and one hour of labor.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations as designated by the State of Alabama.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in Alabama Buys and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including certification that they are not barred from bidding or entering into contracts with the State. Additionally, suppliers must provide proof of enrollment in the E-Verify program prior to award.
