Background
The Alabama Department of Workforce is seeking bids for a janitorial contract to service the Birmingham and Huntsville Career Centers. The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities, supporting the agency's mission to provide workforce development services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services for both the Birmingham and Huntsville Career Centers, which includes:

1. Monthly Janitorial Services for Birmingham Career Center, located at 3216 4th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35222.
2. Quarterly Janitorial Services for Birmingham Career Center.
3. Monthly Janitorial Services for Huntsville Career Center, located at 2535 Sparkman Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35810.
4. Quarterly Janitorial Services for Huntsville Career Center.

All services are to be billed in arrears and are valid from the date of award until September 30, 2026.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue until September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Birmingham Career Center (3216 4th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35222) and the Huntsville Career Center (2535 Sparkman Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit at both locations on specified dates: Birmingham on December 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM and Huntsville on December 12, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Failure to attend will result in bid rejection. Bidders must also provide proof of liability coverage as per specifications and submit three references from similar service contracts.
