Background
The Alabama Department of Public Health is seeking to procure a Spectroscopic Personal Radiation Detector, specifically the Teledyne FLIR Identifinder R225-GN or an equivalent model. This procurement aims to enhance the department's capabilities in radiation detection and identification, which is crucial for public health and safety.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of a Spectroscopic Personal Radiation Detector with the following specifications:
- Model: Teledyne FLIR Identifinder R225-GN or equal.
- Features: 18x18x18mm CSL (TI) detector with SiPM's for gamma radiation detection and identification, ZnS detector for neutron detection, digital signal processing, color display, web server, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and Reachback capability.
- Warranty: A one-year standard factory warranty plus an additional three-year extended warranty from the date of installation.
- Calibration: Annual dose rate calibrations are required at the end of the factory warranty and at the end of each year during the extended warranty period.
- Delivery: All equipment must be new and unused, acceptable by the original equipment manufacturer for their maintenance. The bid must include freight charges as F.O.B. destination.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will include delivery and installation timelines as specified in the bid response requirements.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to 208 Legions Court, Suite C, Prattville, AL 36066.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of ISO 17025 and 9001 Certification along with descriptive literature for all items proposed. Additionally, suppliers must be registered in Alabama Buys and comply with all submission requirements outlined in the solicitation.
