Background
The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is seeking a qualified supplier to provide necessary labor, transportation, and disposal services for the removal and disposal of containerized chemical and non-chemical waste at their warehouse located at 2740 Gunter Park Drive West, Montgomery, AL 36109. ADPH is Alabama's state Public Health agency. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and compliant disposal of various waste materials used in their operations.

Work Details
The selected supplier will be responsible for:
- Providing all labor, transportation, and disposal services for containerized chemical and non-chemical waste.
- Removing and properly disposing of chemicals and non-chemical substances.
- Handling items that are wrapped and on pallets, which may include glass vials, tubes, jars, metal, paper, or plastic containers.

The estimated quantities to be disposed of include:
- 338 pallets of Ginisis Hand Sanitizer
- 12 pallets of Lysol Disinfectant wipes
- 32 pallets of absolute disinfectant
- 92 pallets of ZEHN-X sanitizing wipes.

Suppliers must provide a written statement detailing the disposal method for each line item.

Period of Performance
The contract will establish a performance period of 12 months with options to extend for additional 12-month periods up to four times, contingent upon mutual agreement between the state and the vendor.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Alabama Department of Public Health's warehouse located at 2740 Gunter Park Drive West, Montgomery, AL 36109.

Bidder Requirements
Suppliers wishing to bid must attend a mandatory site visit on March 18th, 2025. No subcontracting will be allowed under this contract. Additionally, suppliers must comply with various certifications including registration with Alabama Secretary of State if they are a foreign entity and verification of enrollment in the E-Verify program prior to award.
