Background
The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, HQ State Equipment Fleet, is soliciting bids for a Self-Propelled Chip Spreader. The contract period is for a one-time purchase with quantities of one for immediate purchase. The location of use is statewide, with warranty locations in Anchorage and Fairbanks at a minimum. The Municipality of Anchorage and other Alaska political subdivisions may cooperatively purchase from the resulting contract.
Work Details
The Self-Propelled Chip Spreader must be serviced and inspected by the dealer or their agent prior to delivery.
The State's inspection upon delivery is for the sole purpose of identification and shall not be construed as final acceptance if the materials or equipment do not conform to contract requirements.
The successful bidder must provide build sheets, parts & service information, and warranty documentation.
The F.O.B. point is as listed in Bid Price Schedule, and ownership and title will remain with the contractor until delivery is complete to the final destination and accepted by the State.
