Background
The Department of Fish and Game is in need of a freight service from Ketchikan to the Unuk and Chickamin Rivers. The specific requirements include loading and transporting fuel via vessel/barge, offloading via chartered helicopter, backhauling empty barrels, providing a crew for the vessel and helicopter, coordinating deliveries between June 1 – June 30 annually, and handling logistics, planning coordination, and field communications with TEMSCO.

Work Details
The contractor is required to transport fuel via vessel/barge to the Unuk and Chickamin Rivers, offload it via chartered helicopter, backhaul empty barrels, provide a crew for the vessel and helicopter, coordinate deliveries between June 1 – June 30 annually, handle logistics, planning coordination, and field communications with TEMSCO. The initial contract period will be from award date to June 30, 2025 with 3 one-year renewal options. Quotes should include price per trip. Subcontractors will not be allowed to perform work on this contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed from Ketchikan to the Unuk and Chickamin Rivers in Alaska.
