Background
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is a non-profit health organization created in 1997 to provide statewide Alaska Native/American Indian health services.
The mission of ANTHC is to provide the highest quality health services in partnership with the Alaska Native Tribal Health System.
This contract aims to secure Hospital Environmental Services for the Alaska Native Medical Center and associated clinical facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all employee uniforms, labor, and supervision necessary to perform Hospital Environmental Services that prioritize infection control while optimizing cleaning practices in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Services include:
- Medical housekeeping, cleaning, and environmental services across multiple facilities.
- Daily pickup of soiled linen and coordination with the ANTHC Linen Team for inventory management.
- Cleaning of designated spaces totaling approximately 308,310 square feet at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) and 9,618 square feet at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
- Compliance with standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC), Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
- The contractor must ensure that all operations comply with state or local Department of Health regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base performance period of three years from the date of award, with two optional one-year extensions available.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed at the Alaska Native Medical Center located at 4315 Diplomacy Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99508, and at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located at 3801 University Lake Drive, Suite 100, Anchorage, Alaska 99508.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must have a valid business license for at least one year prior to consideration for contract award.
They must also hold any necessary professional licenses and certifications required by law.
Minimum requirements include:
- A General Manager with a minimum of five years' experience in Hospital Environmental Service at a supervisory level.
- An on-site Service Manager with at least three years' supervisory experience in Hospital Environmental Services.
- Current certification from the International Executive Housekeepers Association or equivalent.
