Background
The Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC) is seeking information for the provision of Non-Permanent Facilities on Kodiak Island, Alaska, to support operations near the Pacific Spaceport Complex Alaska (PSCA).
The goal is to establish temporary housing and associated support services for up to five hundred personnel, adhering to the UFC 1-201-01 standards.
This RFI serves as a preliminary step in gathering insights and capabilities from potential contractors to formulate a Request for Proposal (RFP).

Work Details
The contractor will provide Non-Permanent Facilities, including Organic Construction level, Life Support Area (LSA), temporary housing, and associated support services.
Key requirements include:
- Accommodations for up to 500 personnel with a planning figure of 250 plus or minus 100.
- Hard side and soft side temporary housing options are acceptable.
- The LSA must include both wet and dry facilities:
- Dry Facilities: Living structures with beds, linens, storage, recreational areas with telephones, microwaves, refrigerators, televisions, and exercise equipment.
- Wet Facilities: Separate restroom and shower facilities for male and female occupants, laundry facilities with washers and dryers.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations including OSHA and ADA.
- Provision of utilities such as potable water supply, waste disposal systems, electrical systems following government-approved methods, fire protection measures including alarms and extinguishers.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of operation is approximately late 2026, excluding mobilization or tear-down phases.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed near the Pacific Spaceport Complex Alaska (PSCA), Kodiak Island, Alaska.
