IFQ: 25253-008 Ketchikan As Needed Electrical Services

Background
The State of Alaska, through its Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), is seeking quotes for as-needed electrical services in Ketchikan, Alaska. The goal of this contract is to perform maintenance and repair work on street light luminaires, signal light luminaires, and other non-mandatory electrical services as specified in the Scope of Work.

The DOT&PF aims to ensure that all individuals have equal access to participate in its programs and services, adhering to policies against discrimination based on various factors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing as-needed maintenance and repair tasks which include:
- Replacing bulbs for street light luminaires and signal light luminaires;
- Troubleshooting issues with street light luminaires and signal lights;
- Repairing or replacing pedestrian pedestals;
- Addressing electrical problems within the circuitry of street light luminaires and traffic signal lights;
- Repairing or replacing light poles; and
- Providing other electrical services as directed by the project manager.

The contractor must supply all necessary labor, equipment (including a bucket truck with a 40' reach), and materials required for these tasks. The state will furnish parts needed for repairs.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set to begin upon award and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026. The state may opt to renew this contract for three additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place in Ketchikan, Alaska, with potential tasks extending to other designated areas as specified in the contract documents.
