Cyber Security Software and Services

Background
The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants for Cyber Security Software and Services. The goal is to enhance the city's defense against evolving cyber threats through a comprehensive suite of software and services, including installation, conversion, migration, and implementation. CBJ prefers to partner with a single entity capable of providing a complete range of required functionalities.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), or Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. Key functional requirements include:
- Advanced Data Aggregation for real-time data analysis across diverse networks.
- Intelligent Threat Detection using global threat intelligence to prioritize actionable security events.
- Automated Escalation & Response for critical findings reporting and autonomous mitigation actions.
- Secure Operations with continuous telemetry transmission to a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Agency Monitoring for approximately 600 workstations, 1200 staff, and around 160 servers.

Installation milestones include successful software deployment, comprehensive system backup, technical documentation provision, hardware verification, and coordination with CBJ personnel for configuration.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The agreement may automatically renew for four additional years until June 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Juneau, Alaska.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be based in North America and available during CBJ work hours. They should have significant experience with similar organizations and proven track records of delivering projects on time and within budget. A State of Alaska business license is required prior to the issuance of the notice to proceed.
