**Mandatory** walk-through at 10AM Wed the 16th of Oct, 2024. If you need a day pass to get on base for this walk-through, please email mvafmocontracts@alaska.gov 48 hours before the walk-through. Suggested that you per-register to be notified if this date/time changes.

Deadline for Receipt of Bids: Current deadline for this ITB will be 1:00pm Alaska Time on Oct 24, 2024. Information for submitting quote can be found in the attached ITB. Late offers will be rejected.

Background
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Alaska Army National Guard Facilities Management Office, is soliciting bids for the design and construction services for the replacement of the building boiler system at Building 47420 on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation of a new boiler that meets or exceeds the performance capabilities of the existing system while achieving a minimum efficiency of 85%.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing the existing boiler at BAAF Building #47420 (Flight Operations) with a new boiler that has a minimum efficiency rating of 85%.

The work must be completed within 90 calendar days, with a completion deadline set for January 15, 2025. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is less than $210,700. A mandatory walk-through is scheduled for October 16, 2024, at 10 AM. Bidders must ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding labor and materials.

Period of Performance
The contract work shall be completed within 90 calendar days from the start date, with an expected completion date by January 15, 2025.
