Services LLC Wins $10 Million Air Force Cybersecurity and AIMS Support Contract

Services LLC of Houston has received a $9.99 million contract from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center for cybersecurity, systems engineering and AIMS support to its Engineering and Technical Services Directorate. The company will provide continuous technical support for flight-safety work and weapon-system cybersecurity accreditation across the directorate. Work will take place at Wright-Patterson, Hanscom, Edwards and Robins Air Force bases; Naval Air Station Patuxent River; and in Tokyo. The Air Force expects work to be completed by Aug. 31, 2027.

Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering and AIMS Support Details

Services will sustain the directorate’s cybersecurity accreditation operations and provide specialized systems engineering support. The award notice describes the work as continuous support for critical flight-safety and weapon-system functions, rather than a one-time assessment or development project.

The contract also covers AIMS, the Defense Department’s Identification Friend or Foe Mark XII/Mark XIIA program. AIMS work concerns the testing and certification of systems used to identify friendly aircraft and other platforms. The contract’s operating locations span Air Force engineering and test sites, Naval Air Station Patuxent River and Japan.

Award and Contractor Background

The Air Force made the award through a sole-source acquisition. Related AIMS work has previously been performed under a different award: in May 2022, KBR reported receiving a five-year, $41 million recompete task order for the directorate’s DoD AIMS Program Office. KBR said that work included analysis and recommendations for equipment- and platform-level certification testing and system-level changes.

This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under FA860426CB025 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
