Pegasystems Inc. of Waltham, Massachusetts, won an Army enterprise contract worth up to $419 million for commercial software subscriptions, technical support and outcome-based professional services. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will provide a purchasing vehicle for Pega software across the department. Work locations will be set under individual orders, and the estimated completion date is Oct. 28, 2036.
Pega Software Enterprise Contract Details
Pegasystems will provide subscriptions to its proprietary software, including the Pega Government Platform. The Army’s sole-source notice identifies business-process management, low-code application development and case management as intended uses, including work tied to acquisition modernization.
Pegasystems will also furnish direct manufacturer Tier-3 premium technical support and specialized professional services. The contract establishes a departmentwide way to buy those capabilities, while individual orders will determine where work is performed. Army Contracting Command–Rock Island arranged the procurement on behalf of the Capability Program Executive Enterprise Software & Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Award and Contractor Background
The Army announced its intent to make a sole-source award to Pegasystems, the software’s original manufacturer. The award notice says one bid was solicited and one was received.
The company also holds a separate Army order for Pega support for disconnected operations, with a potential value of $3.24 million and a scheduled performance end date of Jan. 29, 2027. The new enterprise contract covers a broader purchasing scope: software subscriptions, manufacturer support and professional services.
This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under W519TC27DA019 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
