The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, has awarded a contract for various minor construction projects to Olgoonik General. Work to be Completed Under IDIQ SATOC for Minor Construction Projects Contract

The contract, formally titled IDIQ SATOC for Minor Construction Projects, SWL (CW and MIL), will support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Civil Works and Military missions within the Little Rock District’s boundaries. The maximum contract capacity is $45 million, with task order limitations detailed in the contract terms. The ordering period consists of a single five-year base period.

According to the pre-solicitation notice, the scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, supplies, parts, transportation, supervision, and equipment necessary for the repair or construction of real property facilities. This may involve:

  • Repair or replacement of mechanical, electrical, or fire protection/detection systems
  • Concrete repair and asphalt paving
  • Building renovations or demolition
  • Interior remodeling (carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering)
  • Infrastructure system repairs or replacements
  • Drainage correction and structural upgrades
  • Asbestos removal and disposal
  • Roofing, siding, window, door repairs/replacements
  • Maintenance for recreational facilities

Work may occur in diverse environments such as administrative buildings, vehicle maintenance shops, warehouses, recreation areas, lake shorelines, and remote river locations.

The contract requires Olgoonik General to provide quality assurance in strict accordance with all specified terms and conditions. Responsibilities also include planning, programming, administration, management of repair/construction services as ordered, site preparation and cleanup for each task order, report preparation, record drawing maintenance, and other administrative duties.

The solicitation process was competitive with five bids received via the internet. The acquisition was conducted under an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside using NAICS Code 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction).
