Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. has received a Navy supply order worth up to $25.4 million for flow-control valves. The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support awarded the firm-fixed-price, definite-quantity order under a five-year basic ordering agreement with the company. The three-year order is scheduled to end Dec. 18, 2029.
Navy Flow-Control Valve Order Details
Northrop Grumman will supply flow-control valves for Navy use. The order covers a definite quantity at a fixed price, rather than establishing a new agreement for a range of parts.
The order falls under Northrop Grumman’s basic ordering agreement with DLA, which covers mechanical and electrical components including valves, seals, bearings, couplings and other parts. The award notice identifies flow-control valves as the item being purchased under this order.
Award and Contractor Background
DLA made the award as a sole-source acquisition. Northrop Grumman has received other flow-control valve orders under the same agreement, including a $10 million Navy supply order and an October 2025 order valued at $3.9 million. Those awards show prior purchases of the same category of component through the agreement.
This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under SPE4AX27F0542 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
