LMI Consulting Wins $99 Million Army Commercial Technology Contract

LMI Consulting of Tysons Corner, Virginia, has won an Army Contracting Command contract for commercial technology offerings with a potential value of up to $99 million. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award allows the Army to place orders for the offerings through an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2031. The contracting office is at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Commercial Technology Offerings Details

The contract provides a vehicle for individual orders rather than a single, defined delivery. The award notice describes the work as commercial technology offerings but does not identify particular products, systems or services. The scope of work under an individual order will determine what LMI delivers.

Work locations and funding will also be determined with each order. The $99 million figure is the contract’s maximum potential value, not an amount the Army has committed to spend at award.

Award and Contractor Background

The Army solicited bids online and received nine. LMI has other Army technology work, including a Global Combat Support System–Army program-management and systems-engineering support award valued at up to $77.5 million through January 2027. An Army Special Operations Command prototype award has a potential value of $76.3 million through January 2028 and includes work supporting artificial-intelligence initiatives.

This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under W9128Z26DA018 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
