Washington Headquarters Services announced it has awarded a contract for business intelligence and analytics support to Koniag IT Systems, valued at $13.9 million upon award with a cumulative total of $83.3 million over approximately four years. The firm-fixed-price contract will be performed primarily at government facilities in the Pentagon, Mark Center, Crystal City, Rosslyn, and Ft. Belvoir.

Work to be Completed Under Business Intelligence and Analytics Support Contract

The newly awarded contract tasks Koniag IT Systems with providing expertise, personnel, equipment, materials, and other resources to support analytical activities for the Department of Defense. The scope includes acquiring analytical tools and piloting activities that will enhance the Department’s business intelligence capabilities.

A central component of the work involves integrating these advanced analytical capabilities with an existing web-based SharePoint portal. This integration aims to streamline data access and improve decision-making processes across multiple Department of Defense offices.

Koniag IT Systems will also document requirements necessary to establish a cost-efficient and sustainable analytics environment. This documentation is expected to guide future investments and ensure that the Department’s business data is managed effectively over the long term.

The contract includes on-site support at several key government locations in the Washington, D.C. area: the Pentagon, Mark Center, Crystal City, Rosslyn, and Ft. Belvoir. The estimated completion date for all work under this contract is March 31, 2028.
