Katmai Global Solutions Wins $10 Million Patrick Space Force Base Fuel Services Contract

Katmai Global Solutions of Anchorage, Alaska, has won a Defense Logistics Agency Energy contract worth up to $9.7 million to operate government-owned aircraft and ground fuel facilities at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The work covers fuel services, storage and distribution for the Air Force installation. The 8(a) set-aside contract was awarded Sept. 25, 2026, and has a stated performance completion date of Oct. 31, 2030.

Patrick Space Force Base Fuel Services Details

Under the Patrick fuel-services requirement, Katmai will manage bulk fuel storage, aircraft fueling services and ground-fuel distribution. The scope also includes retail service-station support and overall fuels management at government-owned, contractor-operated facilities on the base.

Katmai will be responsible for the safe, accountable handling of DLA-owned petroleum products and for maintaining the facilities, systems, vehicles and equipment needed to keep those services operating. The work is an installation-level operating service, distinct from the purchase of the fuel itself. DLA Energy’s Bulk Petroleum Services organization supports this model of fuel-facility operations and aircraft fuel delivery.

Award and Contractor Background

DLA Energy, based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, received two responses to the competition. The agency named Katmai as the awardee on Sept. 25. The contract places the company in charge of day-to-day fuel handling and facility operations at Patrick, which is home to the Air Force users identified in the award notice.

This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under SPE60326C5016 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
