Elbit Systems Wins $14 Million Navy Survival Radio Repair Contract

Elbit Systems C4I and Cyber has received a Navy requirements contract worth up to $13.5 million to repair four configurations of survival radios used to support naval aviators. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support awarded the fixed-price contract, with work to be performed in Talladega, Alabama, and Holon, Israel. The work is expected to be completed by September 2031.

Naval Aviator Survival Radio Repair Details

Elbit will repair four radio configurations under delivery orders issued during the five-year contract. The Navy expects 60% of the work to take place in Talladega and 40% in Holon. The award notice identifies the equipment by its survival-radio role but does not identify the four configurations by model.

The repair work supports an area in which the Navy has continued to buy equipment. Its fiscal 2026 procurement budget lists 8,671 prior-year deliveries in the Survival Communication Devices line and a fiscal 2024 purchase of 1,204 devices. Those procurement figures describe the broader equipment line, rather than the quantity covered by this repair award.

The Navy solicited one company for the sole-source requirement and received one offer. No funds were obligated at award; the Navy expects to fund repair work through subsequent delivery orders.

Elbit has also received Navy orders for related radio equipment, including a radio-set order valued at up to $1.1 million with a March 2026 potential performance end and a radio-beacon-set order valued at up to $933,290 with a March 2026 potential performance end. The Navy’s procurement history also identifies Elbit as the contractor for its fiscal 2024 Survival Communication Devices purchase.
