Calidad Industries Wins $28 Million Army Facilities Maintenance Contract in Dublin

Calidad Industries Inc. of Alameda, California, has received a $28.3 million firm-fixed-price U.S. Army contract for performance-based facilities maintenance in Dublin, California. The Army expects the work to be completed by Sept. 23, 2031. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Field Directorate Office at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Calidad also performs base-operations work at Dublin’s Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, or Camp Parks, under existing Army task orders.

Dublin Facilities Maintenance Details

The award notice describes the new contract as performance-based facilities maintenance, but does not identify individual buildings, systems or maintenance tasks. Camp Parks supports Army Reserve training and tenant units, with facilities used for both recurring instruction and larger exercises. An Army account of the installation describes more than 30 tenant units and a medical training site that trains more than 4,000 people annually.

Those facilities also accommodate intensive short-term use. According to an Army report published in May 2026, about 140 soldiers from the 349th Field Hospital used Camp Parks’ Regional Training Site–Medical during a March exercise, converting it into a functioning hospital. The account illustrates the range of activities supported by facilities at the Dublin installation; it does not define the tasks assigned under Calidad’s new award.

Award and Contractor Background

The Army said it solicited bids online and received one. Calidad Industries already has two documented Camp Parks base-operations task orders covering Sept. 26, 2025, through Sept. 25, 2026: a $3.7 million order for Directorate of Public Works work and a $784,056 order for logistics-readiness work. Their descriptions establish Calidad’s existing work at the installation, though they do not establish that either order is the direct predecessor to the new facilities-maintenance contract.
