Butt Construction Co. Inc. of Dayton, Ohio, won a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District contract for facility expansion and renovation with a total potential value of up to $23.97 million. The firm-fixed-price contract allows the district to issue individual orders for work at locations it will identify later. Its estimated completion date is Nov. 21, 2029.

Facility Expansion and Renovation Details

Butt will carry out expansion and renovation work as the Louisville District issues orders under the contract. The award establishes a vehicle for multiple projects rather than identifying one facility for construction.

Each order will establish its work location and funding. The scope of the individual projects—including which facilities will be expanded or renovated—will be determined through those orders.

Award and Contractor Background

The Corps received two bids for the contract. Butt’s award has an initial stated value of $23.58 million and a total cumulative face value of $23.97 million.

This award was disclosed by the DoW in its daily press release. Additional contract details will be available on HigherGov in approximately 90 days under W912QR27FA007 after the contract is formally disclosed by the government.
