620 Pelham Wins $88 Million DLA Army Trouser Contract

620 Pelham Inc. of Smithville, Tennessee, has won a Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support contract to supply Army Green Service Uniform men’s trousers and Military D.C. men’s trousers. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery contract has a maximum value of $87.7 million. DLA can place orders over five years, through Sept. 23, 2031, for trousers used by the Army.

Army Trouser Contract Details

620 Pelham will supply two categories of men’s trousers under the contract. One is part of the Army Green Service Uniform, the service uniform intended for everyday business and office wear rather than field duty. The other is identified in the award notice as Military D.C. men’s trousers.

The contract gives DLA Troop Support a five-year ordering vehicle for those garments. Its $87.7 million maximum is a ceiling on potential orders, not an amount the agency has committed to purchase.

Army Green Service Uniform Background

The Army’s uniform guidance says the Army Green Service Uniform becomes mandatory for all soldiers on Oct. 1, 2027, as the Army Service Uniform reaches its wear-out date. The Army Green Service Uniform program description identifies taupe trousers or slacks as part of the uniform and says fielding began in July 2020.

The Army’s fiscal 2026 budget request also identifies a backlog in issuing the uniform to National Guard personnel who attended basic combat training before the transition. That request documents continuing uniform demand, though it does not identify purchases under this trouser contract.

Award and Contractor Background

DLA received four responses to the competitive procurement. The agency’s Troop Support organization in Philadelphia made the award.

620 Pelham has received other DLA orders for men’s trousers, including a $3.6 million order with a potential performance end in January 2026 and a $2.4 million order with a potential performance end in December 2026. Those orders show the company’s existing trouser-supply work with the agency; their listed descriptions do not establish that they cover the same garments as the new award.
