Description
The 2M / Module Test & Repair investment supports depot level radio and weapons systems repairs. The program is Navy Type Navy Owned (NTNO). The 2M Workstation (2M / MTR) conducts radio and weapons system repairs. 2M / MTR software is installed on cutters and shore support facilities; training is hosted regularly for this system. The MTR program includes the actual testing software, database, hardware, and development of test routines used to diagnose and repair USCG electronic systems. The program provides remote and onsite technical assistance to support the correction of operational limiting casualties; advanced maintenance training; Material Condition and Operational Assessments; and Configuration Management & Assessments. The 2M Workstation / MTR investment is used on board cutters and at shore support facilities. Stakeholders include the 270's, 378's, ESD's, ESU's, CAMSLANT, ERF Baltimore, TRACEN Petaluma, and TRACEN Yorktown. See MTR ROI.
