USCG - CG Logistics Information Management System (CG-LIMS)

CG-LIMS will be the authoritative source for configuration management (CM) of enrolled USCG assets to include approximately 245 cutters, 200 aircraft, 1,700 standard boats, aids to navigation equipment, and numerous C4IT systems/sub-systems. It will enable product line management by providing total asset visibility throughout the enterprise and be the tool through which maintenance is managed and by which enterprise supply chain is driven. Maintenance management, CM, supply chain management, and technical information management will be tightly integrated and configured to allow efficient execution of a standardized business process. It will align with guidance in The National Fleet Plan and be interoperable with the United States Navy to provide integrated logistics in support of naval and joint operational efforts. As mission support is executed in the USCG, it will interface with finance and procurement systems, so that enterprise business needs are met in a standardized manner.
