Current and/or Anticipated Benefit: The National Finance Center (NFC) has multiple services using our current NFC BSM ServiceNow platform. NFC currently leverages the ServiceNow platform to meet many of its IT Service Management (ITSM) needs. In addition, several functional service desk are operational for four (4) distinct services Operations and Security Center (OSC), NFC Contact Center (NCC), Insurance/Benefits and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS). As the organization matures in its use of ServiceNow products and components, it is seeking new ways to gain benefit from this powerful platform to automate defined procedures, reduce costs, increase transparency, enable proactive decisions and improve customer experience.
By surrounding the employee with a Service Management Platform designed to help employees work effectively and efficiently throughout their work day. Automation to facilitate our current configuration items (CI) classification relationships will incur a savings of hundreds of man-hours in developing and maintaining custom load processes and manual efforts to line CI classification.
