SAMHSA - CSAP Strategic Prevention Technical Assistance Center
Description
The purpose of the SPTAC is to provide direct evidence-based training and technical assistance to build the organizational capacity of SAMHSA prevention grantees and develop the skills and competencies of the prevention workforce to implement SAMHSA's SPF and two cross cutting principles of sustainability and cultural competence successfully to prevent or reduce substance misuse. The focus throughout the task order is substance misuse prevention within a broader context of behavioral health and wellness. (NOTE: The Prevention Technology Transfer Centers do not provide direct TA services to CSAP Grantees but rather to the field within the 10 HHS regions).
