SAMHSA - CMHS TA Support for State Program Improvement

This investment supports SAMHSA's mission by providing technical assistance (TA) to recipients of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG) and Community Mental Health Services Block Grant (MHBG), including the Olmstead Decision. This task order emphasizes cross-agency (CSAT and CMHS) program improvement efforts. The task order provides a comprehensive approach to TA to facilitate grantees' (states, territories, and Red Lake Band Chippewa) compliance with authorizing legislation and implementing regulations, and to promote the integration and advancement of promising practices, programs, and policies necessary to ensure program goals and objectives are achieved. TA shall be accomplished through a variety of methods including onsite and offsite TA, virtual learning events, and virtual and in-person meetings and conferences.
