Investment Detail

Security oriented investments do not typically demonstrate a positive return on investment. However, there are a significant number of non-financial benefits that warrant continued pursuit of this investment. This investment is both a Department level and National level security initiative, and therefore, the cost benefit is derived from both the protection of the Department's information and IT assets; and the foundation for Border Protection initiatives.
