The Pilot Training Transformation (PTT) Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) 2.5 is a single, unified, SaaS cloud-based platform to support new competency-based learning services, simulations engines, data analytics, and emerging technologies. This system is deployed on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The purpose of the system is to deliver pilot training academics to students enrolled in the PTT UPT 2.5 program across AETC bases. This is the one-stop shop for all resources instructors need to schedule and facilitate a learning session and for students to browse the courses, grade books, and training activities that are available to help improve their skills and knowledge. The system consists of virtual machines, SQL databases, and content a management system. At the front-end of this platform is a centralized user portal interface that allows for collaboration between students and instructors. PTT UPT 2.5 incorporates a Learning Management System (LMS) to support the PTT. The LMS is a web-based e-Learning platform that students and instructors use to receive and provide training. Students are able to view courseware, interact with instructors, and interface with their training devices through the platform. Every interaction a student has with the system will be tracked to help instructors gain a better understanding of a student's progress.
