The return on investment will be in higher equipment availability and less maintenance time resulting in staff hour savings. It is anticipated that the cost of procurement and operations will be recouped within 4 years. A life-cycle risk analysis was conducted as part of DOC s internal BY 2015 budget submission. Multiple factors were considered that included monetary fines and penalties for instances of environmental non-compliance across the Department. Indicates the amount of square footage each bureau occupies within HCHB, used to support the Operating Agreements DOC has with GSA that defines other types of spaces within HCHB. This will greatly assist ORE in their efforts to identify consolidation opportunities. Moreover, the bureaus will be able to increase their space utilization ratios decreasing their rental costs and/or eliminating leasing costs at offsite facilities. This software supports this endeavor by promoting and facilitating the optimization of space. This software has an ROI of 2.1.
