This investment includes the Financial Analysis Manager (FAM) is a grant tracking system with multiple modules and functionalities for the sole purpose of tracking NCI grant awards each year. The information contained in FAM is also used for financial reporting to the Office of Budget & Finance (OBF) as well as senior level staff within NCI and NIH. FAM provides financial and other pertinent information for OEFIA staff to analyze financial data for all budgetary exercises. The data in FAM is presented as a sub-system or an extension database of the IMPAC II system. FAM is the primary tool used only by OEFIA staff to monitor and execute the budget for each fiscal year. At the end of a fiscal year once the data has been reconciled against other NCI systems the prior year data is available and the new fiscal year data is generated.
