EPIPS provides estimated benefits of $1.5 to 2 million annually to PPQ through: time savings in pest listing and other analytical work, productivity increases due to automation of repetitive tasks, reducing time needed for document error control and re-work, providing fast access to essential documents, enabling fast and easy creation of predictive maps by providing the necessary data and tools, speeding up pest identification by providing easy-to-use identification tools. The annual cost of EPIPS is under $1 million. Therefore, EPIPS provides and will continue to provide an ongoing return on investment of up to $1 million per year.
