Description
USAID manages strategic relationships with key external entities, and recognizes the importance of them as per the Private-Sector Engagement (PSE) Policy. Currently USAID relies on uncommected systems, standards, and business processes and recognizes the increasing need for an enterprise system to facilitate collaboration and information sharing among its staff. USAID initiated development of an Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) system to empower USAID staff to manage Agency relationships strategically to increase data sharing, collaboration and communication resulting in the reduction of redundancies, establishment of a standard approach to the management of Agency external engagements. As a result, the Agency will improve its reputation as a strategic partner, mitigate potential risks and liabilities and improve capabilities for tracking and reporting against the Agency's initiative to Congress, the public, and other stakeholders.
