The Indian Health Service (IHS) Cybersecurity Program creates information security policy, manages centralized resources, provides training for employees and contractors, and provides guidance to the IT security employees in the field. The Division of Information Security (DIS) mission supports IHS and HHS objectives by strengthening the security posture of mission-critical systems, and by establishing an organizational culture of responsible stewardship, promoting through related governance, providing expertise, and fostering awareness.
