Description
The AQD Applications Portal system consists of web-based applications which support the Department of Interior (DOI)/Interior Business Center (IBC)/Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) lines of business. The Business Enterprise Acquisition Resource (BEAR) and Customer Enterprise Data Analysis Resource (CEDAR) applications provide a reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics platform with web-based functionality of advanced features to meet the day-to-day needs of the management and contract acquisition staff across IBC and AQD. Both applications run on the same servers, utilizing the same web server and database server instances. Both applications also leverage FBMS data and are managed by the same OCIO support services staff. BEAR is solely for AQD and CEDAR is an enterprise customer management tool, sponsored by the Enterprise division of IBC. CEDAR leverages much of the BEAR data and piggybacks on all of the OCIO hosting. The year of initiation was 2017.
