Description
HADD advances HRSA Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program data dissemination, data visualization, and data utilization for Program monitoring and quality improvement to achieve optimal RWHAP client outcomes and to reach national and program-specific goals.
Chart Abstraction (CA): The purpose is to collect facility, provider, and client level data from organizations funded to provide Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) outpatient ambulatory health services.

HRSA HAB Advancing Data Dissemination will support the implementation of vital resources for HRSA HAB POs and HRSA RWHAP recipients to progress toward achieving program and national goals and for HRSA RWHAP recipients to view data about their specific subrecipients and providers. This investment will benefit external stakeholders, federal partners, national partners, academics, and the broader HIV and public health communities by supporting the public dissemination of data on RWHAP client demographics and key HRSA RWHAP indicators.
CA: HRSA HAB is required to assess the quality of care provided by RWHAP recipients. HHS guidelines (e.g. Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in Adults and Adolescents Living with HIV; Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in HIV- Infected Adults and Adolescents; and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment Guidelines, 2015) and U.S. Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) guidelines serve as the basis for assessing the quality of care within the RWHAP. The data must reflect HHS and USPSTF guidelines, RWHAP Service Report variables, and industry standard workflows.
