FWS - Integrated Refuge Information System (IRIS)

The National Wildlife Refuge System desires to migrate a suite Refuge database modules to an approved DOI cloud hosting platform. These modules support the USFWS policy 701FW2 for Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) in the National Wildlife Refuge System.  PRIMR is the module used to document I&M activities on Refuge lands. ServCat is the module used to store and share the final products generated from these I&M activities. FWSpecies is used to document the plant/animal species that are present (occurrence) on Refuge lands. SET is the module used to store surface elevation table observations monitored by 40 coastal refuges. The ServCat module also supports the Open Data Initiative and is a mechanism for FWS staff to make their high quality FWS datasets available to Data.Gov.
