FWS - ECOSphere
Description
ECOSphere, est FY21 and managed by Ecological Services, is a cloud-based and integrated software system that provides access to USFWS data in regards to threatened and endangered species, conservation of habitat and species, refuges, and migratory birds. The ECOSphere cloud platform uses a combination of custom built software and robust commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) solution that is highly configurable. This system is currently under development, and will consume all current ECOS applications and data by FY25.

Investment Detail
This system is a replacement modernization of ECOS, in the Cloud, to happen over five years. We will save the bureau approximately >1M yearly with this effort, once completed. This modernized system will provide better access to data and service to the users.
