Description
The Fire and Emergency Services - Information Management System (FES-IMS) is designed to support base level and higher Headquarters Civil Engineer (CE) fire department functions in day-to-day operations. A/7CRT, Tyndall AFB FL is the Primary Functional representative, and 754 ELSG/ILI, Gunter Annex, Maxwell AFB AL is the Program Manager and Developer. FES-IMS provides direct Civil Engineer information management support to active Air Force units, the Air National Guard, and the Air Force Reserve, during peace and war, at fixed main bases. Additionally, the system is current being used at AOR locations in support of their missions. FES-IMS functions as an interoperable, user-friendly system providing information that expedites effective emergency response support during normal and contingency operations. FES-IMS provides for resource tracking and critical decision-making in the management of emergency fire services. The FES-IMS database resides at each Air Force installation. FES-IMS data entry and retrieval is done through workstations located within each fire department (Active, Guard and Reserve).
