This investment provides web-based training and classroom training information related to all aspects of emergency management in order to increase national capability in preparing for, protecting against, responding to, recovering from, and mitigating emergencies and disasters. This investment supports over 8.5 million users worldwide and manages approximately 2.2 million course completions annually, and contributes to the goals and objectives of DHS Mission 5, Strengthen National Preparedness and Resilience. The stakeholders are the Whole community individuals and families including those with access and functional needs, businesses, faith-based and community organizations, nonprofit groups, schools and academia, media outlets, and all levels of government including federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. This investment includes three systems: training.fema.gov, Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), and dominKnow Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
