The Federal IT Dashboard (ITDB) was launched in 2009 by OMBs OFCIO to provide federal agencies and the public with visibility into how federal IT dollars are spent as well as report on the general health of agency IT investments. The ITDB collects and displays data received from agencies through the CPIC process through tools. Information on the ITDB includes IT budget data, as well as IT project level cost schedule, risk, and performance. It's purpose is to fulfill the requirements set forth in the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) on enhanced transparency and risk reporting in IT investments.
