The Advanced Computing Services (ACS) Engineering Team provides engineering support agency wide for over 2700 scientific workstations Windows Mac and Linux, an 8-node hyperconverged infrastructure centrally hosting over 70 virtual servers and applications all on the FDA production network 24 hours a day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year. The team also provides administrative support to the FDA Scientific Computing Board as well as positions that provide contract management and oversight across all IDIQ Task Orders. The ACS team enables the daily work of over 1000 scientists who support the FDA mission of protecting the health of millions of people both in this country and around the world.
