IBC HRLOB Shared Service Center uses FPPS to provide personnel/payroll services; allows IBC to expand its offerings to include OPM's full suite of HR services; integrates future e-Gov capabilities. Supports OPM's Shared First Initiative. HRLoB systems support all DOI bureau personnel and payroll activities. IBC's Human Resources Division (HRD) has been managing this investment's service since 1995. In 2021, IBC and OCIO are leading the effort deconstruct this investment into multiple separate investments by the point of management. This effort will enhance insight, transparency and reporting capability of the HRLoB sub-components/services.
