(CUI//NF) Disablement Management System Modification (DMS Mod) provides Theater Nuclear Surety Enhancement Capability. This is a CLOSED PIT Subsystem system with no external interface. This is PIT Subsystem, however, (AFMC/A6) directed the use of General IT in order to eliminate ITIPS system errors. This is not a Cloud System but is a stand-alone PIT subsystem providing Nuclear Surety Enhancement to the B61-12. DMS is a single use, single function system using a Windows tablet to interface with equipment connected to the B61-12. (CUI//NF) This is a modification to the fielded Disablement Management System (DMS) providing enhanced surety features for the B61-12. The purpose of DMS Mod is to disable the B61-12 while stored in a locked Weapon Storage vault. DMS Mod upgrades the Secure Asset Control Module (SACM), upgrades the Functional System (FS), and upgrades the cables connected to the B61-12. DMS does not connect to any network and only connects to the B61-12. All DMS components (except SACM) are DOE designed, developed, and Diamond Stamped. DMS is provided to the USAF by the DoE/NNSA as Gov't Furnished Equipment (GFE). (CUI//NF) Last, funding is thru the USAF MIPR of funds to the NNSA who in turn pays Sandia National Laboratory to design, test, build, certify, and produce the components/system. All components are ?Diamond Stamp? certified by the NNSA to connect to a B61-12 weapon.
